A well-off family in Prague: mother, father, a dog and two almost grown-up children. Erik is fifteen and still at school. His sister Anna is already studying, but still lives at home. The parents and the dog leave for a sailing trip to the other side of the world, leaving the children on their own to try out their newfound freedoms. The teenagers, who seem so friendly and reasonable, invent obscure dares against boredom and gamble on the computer late at night, Erik makes his first love experiences and begins to skip school. Their parents see them only occasionally via Skype. But then contact with them breaks off, the ship sinks in a storm. The stranded family dog seems to be the only salvation for the shattering family.
