On My Way

Bettie (CATHERINE DENEUVE), in her early 60s, just leaves her mother alone with the guests at her Breton restaurant - she's run out of cigarettes, so she gets in the car and drives off. But all the stores seem to be closed and suddenly Bettie realizes she doesn't want her old life anymore. Her lover has recently found himself a younger woman, the restaurant is not going well and her domineering mother is getting on her last nerve. So she spontaneously decides to just move on and on her adventurous journey she meets unusual people, romantic stories, former beauty queens and naughty boys - including, quite unexpectedly, her grandson...
