Rede nur niemand vom Schicksal

A short film by Ula Stöckl, with Grischas Huber and texts from Hyperion by the German poet Friedrich Hölderlin. Grischa Huber, an actress, recited quotes from Hölderlin while standing in the former death strip that once divided Germany, as excavators demolished the Berlin Wall and turned it into gravel. Ula Stöckl selected nine passages from Huber's Hyperion reading, which she delivered in the Painters' Hall of the Hamburger Schauspielhaus right after the Wall's collapse. This film serves as a prologue for the feature film The Old Song.
