Smart Monkey

Smart Monkey follows a mischievous primate as he takes on merciless predators and cleverly escapes danger at every turn. This little monkey embodies the superiority of brain over brawn and the advent of culture overtaking instinct. In a singular epilogue set several millennium later, Smart Monkey presents the consequences of our primate's adventure, leaving viewers to contemplate the delicate balance between civilization and the primal instincts that still reside within us. Winshluss adapted his own eponymous comic book with Nicolas Pawlowski. The result is a hilarious short film with a savage black humor.
