Edna is the new girl in class. She moved to Germany just recently. School lessons in the foreign language are still difficult for her. She sits in the last row on an extra desk and gets different tasks than her classmates. Sometimes the class forgets that the Bosnian girl is even there. Sometimes Edna forgets that there is still a class. Still, slowly but surely Edna comes out of her shell. The film looks very closely at this girl and shows her curiosity, her joy, her otherness and her attempt to communicate, which is increasingly linked to aggression. In interviews, the children of the class are asked what they know and think about the stranger girl.
