Amelie doesn't let anyone tell her what to do, especially not her parents, who take her to a special clinic in South Tyrol after a life-threatening asthma attack. Exactly what Amelie does not want. Instead of letting herself be helped, she runs away. She flees to a place where no one is likely to suspect her: up the mountain. In the middle of the Alps she meets a mysterious 15-year-old with the strange name Bart.
