The hunt for Alexander's kidnappers continues in Sweden, where they have switched to a truck. Anna must work with the Swedish negotiator Daniel, whom she knows from her training. They get the truck routed along some forest roads and manage to get the kidnappers to stop at a gas station, but when the task force tries to storm the truck, the kidnappers shoot one of the officers and flee to a small cabin where they barricade themselves in.
Anna comes close to negotiating Alexander out, but Daniel is afraid to take any chances and sends in the SWAT team, who shoot and kill one kidnapper, arrest two others and free Alexander. Anna is somewhat upset, however, that Daniel gives the signal to shoot a man she is negotiating with, but he tells her about a similar case from Germany where the kidnappers shot the child when the police moved in - he just couldn't tell her because she is a negotiator. An explanation that Anna accepts somewhat reluctantly.
Mikala tries to keep her son, Tobias, home from a party, but in the evening he and his friend, Claes, run off to a party. Suddenly, however, Mikala gets a call from school, saying that Tobias has been rushed to hospital after taking some dangerous pills. Mikala is sure that Jimmy has something to do with it, so she goes to the school to talk to him. With her gun, she threatens to tell him who his boss is - Coco.
