The children are studying the Arthurian legend in their history lesson with Mrs Wagner. Max and Mau are particularly enthusiastic about the scene in which Arthur is the only knight who is able to pull the sword out of the stone and is thus crowned the new king. However, the two of them get too involved in their acting in class and disrupt the lesson. Mrs Wagner therefore tells them to re-enact the scene in front of the whole class on the following Friday. But during rehearsals Bakary speaks far too loudly. It's a good thing that Max has just learned the method of soulful playing from Maestro Barenboim.
