Landmaus und Stadtmaus auf Reisen

Emily and Alexander visit their cousin Powhuktuk at the North Pole. He is friends with the pair of twins Nuljalik and Katelo. When the twins' father breaks his promise to take them hunting, the twins take off on their own to prove to their father that they are already big enough to hunt and fish. As the season changes, the ice begins to break up and the father finds himself in danger. He drifts on an ice floe and can't get back to the mainland. However, the mice and the twins can almost catch up with the father and fortunately find an abandoned ship with which they can rescue the father.
